Sara was born and raised in the Bay Area. She attended Pepperdine University for her
undergraduate degree. It was here that she learned of her passion to help individuals
diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disorders. She then attended Alliant International University for her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Neuropsychology.
Following graduation, she began working at the Regional Center of the East Bay, where she was part of the team charged with transitioning clients out of the developmental centers and into community-based living. It was through this experience that she worked closely with Alegria Community Living and, following her licensure, began consulting with the Alegria homes.
She operates under the belief that all people need to be heard, respected, and given space to live their lives to the fullest. This perspective guides her training of staff and the support given to the clients in the Alegria homes.
