Branka Ristic-GonzalesDirector of Human Resources

With over 20 years of experience in leadership roles across both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, and more than 18 years as a dedicated HR leader, Branka brings a deep commitment to building healthy, collaborative, and empathetic workplace cultures. She joined Alegria at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and has been proud to be part of a missiondriven, inclusive, and diverse team ever since.

She is passionate about the work she does and values the opportunity to contribute to meaningful change, both directly and behind the scenes. She holds a B.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, a SHRM certification, and a Diversity and Inclusion for HR certificate from Cornell University.

Outside of work, she volunteers with Meals on Wheels and enjoys reading mystery and crime novels, spending time by the ocean or in the woods, hanging out with her family and dogs and in general being around animals. She is grateful to be part of an organization like Alegria that aligns with hervalues and supports a culture of belonging.
