Adriana grew up in Oakland and still resides in the Bay Area. As someone who grew up with a single mother and is familiar with social services, she wants to pursue a career in Social Work to help become an advocate for those, especially children, in need. She feels very strongly about becoming the change one would want to see and wants to give the support she wished she had gotten.

Working with Alegria has taught her how to become more patient, learning how to be more of a listener as she meets new people (staff) with different backgrounds. She enjoys being able to help staff when needed and seeing that she is successful in doing so. Although she has only been with Alegria for a year as the administrative assistant, she feels she has gained trust and connections with staff, which is important when trying to help or learn more about someone.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, shopping, or going for a walk with her dog.
